This will work on Windows XP and up. Solution to "USB Device Not Recognized": 1) Unplug your computer's power supply unit 2) Unplug all other cables from the rear of the computer 3) Remove the side panel of the tower by loosening the screws and sliding the panel off 4) Remove the motherboard battery by pressing on the release clip 5) Wait 10 minutes 6) Replace the battery by putting it back in its holder 7) Replace the side panel by placing it on the side of the tower. Slide forward till it fits in place. Tightening screws on the rear of the tower 8) Plug all cables back in on the rear of the tower 9) Power on your computer 10) Once at your desktop try USB devices in problematic USB port Your problem should now be solved.
